St. Vincent is 150 square miles in land mass, consisting of the main island Saint Vincent and series of small islands called Grenadines. It is surrounded by Saint Lucia to the north and Barbados to the east. The official language and spoken language is English. The official currency is the Eastern Caribbean Dollar (EC$) with US dollar widely used on the islands.

St. Vincent has French and British colonial history and is now a member of British Commonwealth, declaring independence in 1979. St. Vincent is a parliamentary democracy and constitutional monarchy with a House of Assembly, appointed Governor General and an elected Prime Minister. Cabinet led by the Prime Minister vests legislative power within the country. St Vincent’s parliamentary and legal system is based on the English Common Law. As Commonwealth, St. Vincent provides a stable political environment for offshore activities.
